I'm just switching from a ThinkPad T480 to an X1 Nano. I have been using iTunes on it for music, but also for doing full backups of my iPad. With iTunes on the T480 it always recognize when I plugged in my iPad (via a USB A to USB C cable). This doesn't seem to work on the Nano (which is a USB C to USB C cable because the Nano only has USB C/Thunderbolt ports.
Is there something additional I might need to do for the laptop/Windows/iTunes to recognize that I've attached my iPad to it? It seems very strange that this would be a USB connector specific problem.
