Excel - Formula based on cell color
Dear Experts,
Could you please advise which technical options are to have a formula in Excel based on cell color?
In the attached file:
FormulaBasedOnCellColor.xlsx
there is a simple example (showing also on the print screen below) that A2 has yellow color, while A3 red one:
Could you please advise how to reach that cell B2 would calculate text "Ok" and B3 text "Nok" by a formula, which would be based on the yellow and red color of the cells in column A.
Being aware that there are VBA solutions for such scenario, however actually would like to avoid using macros

Unfortunately, Ijust found a bug. I will fix it later this afternoon.
Afterwards, let me know how it works. I improve the Add-in from time to time, so I appreciate feedback from folks that use it. In particular, if it doesn't work for you I would like to know what went wrong.

Will the Yellow and Red cells contain values, if not can they? If they can then the formatting can be based on its content.
This is doable with Conditional Formatting which does not require any Macro to work
