I need complete steps to migrating sql database Instance to secondary drive(keping in mind that i'm new to SQL DB)
In our SQL DB where we have lot of Instances created with total size of 500GB, one of the DB instance is creating lot of logs(it belongs to symmetric datacenter monitoring application),it has taken almost 220GB. I'm planning two solutions either moving this DB to a local server or migrate it to a different drive. Well, both solution's needs similar kid of treatment, kindly suggest me step by step way out to fulfil the requirement keeping in mind consider me a fresher in SQL DB side. Urgent reply will be appreciated

The procedure is different for each database manufacturer.. Which Database Manager are you using?

Microsoft SQL 2016 two node cluster with different DB instance created
