SQL Query resultset contains "&"
I have a SQL Server database table that contains "&" in the data strings. When I query the data, it comes out as "&" instead of "&".
Here's what the data looks like in table PEOPLE (when I have SSMS show me the the first 1,000 rows):
ID,Name
1,Fred & Wilma
2,Barney & Betty
I built some views of the table and instead of seeing the "&", I see "&" in the result set.
select name from PEOPLE;
Fred & Wilma
Barney & Betty
How do I get it to just show the "&" instead of "&"? I'm exporting the resultset to Excel.
