Use the HDMI for only ONE monitor. The third monitor has to be a USB dongle (since I don't see USB-C with display support on the specs). But it doesn't have to be a full docking station as stated above. Update on the situation. I got a USB-C port that I have plugged my second external monitor into. However I don't have a USB-C port on my computer so I got an adaptor that does USB-C to USB 3.0 to connect to my laptop. However combination is not picking up the second monitor. You need to ask the manufacturer for a device driver.<br><br>The adapter will only work if you have installed a proper device driver.

Sometimes, it needs drivers. If the docking hardware is similar to a USB 3 (type A) to HDMI adapter, then the correct drivers will work just fine. However, since it's a USB-C adapter, sometimes the adapter ASSUMES YOUR USB-C port is Displayport capable. In those cases, it relies on your USB-C chipset to do the display part. A driver in that case, WILL NOT help.<br>So, you need to try the drivers indeed. However, if it doesn't work, it will never work (since you've made clear you don't have a USB-C port, and the Type A USB 3 port does NOT support Displayport)<br>To make things more complicated, there are USB-C ports, that also don't support Displayport. And we always assumed you had HDMI monitors. How did you suddenly get a USB-C monitor? In those cases, docks will never work.<br>And even more astounding, you marked one solution as the answer already. And actually, that was indeed the solution. Why didn't you get that exact adapter?

USB Type C is the interface only. Your Acer notebook has a USB Type C port, but it only supports data transfer, not HDMI video output.<br><br>If you want USB Type C to HDMI output, the notebooks have to support standards of Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4. You definitely don't need a new laptop if 2 extra screens is what you need. As explained, you already have one screen on HDMI. The other can be done with the USB3 to HDMI adapter. The Type A USB 3 device will take care of the graphics.It's a proven universal solution.
