Filter OData info with an Excel Spreadsheet in Power BI Desktop

I have an Odata database: https://data.texas.gov/api/odata/v4/naix-2893
And an Excel Workbook saved on the Desktop with a list of Bars and the TABC Permit #

I am trying to filter the Odata feed in Power BI to only show the TABC Permit #s that are listed in the excel sheet.

I use to do this in Excel only, but there have been complications with the feed and certain versions of Excel, plus I would like the reporting and graphics that Power BI has to offer.

Did you try importing the Excel table into Power Query and merging the Odata database and Excel Table on common column TABC Permit # with Inner join option?

Well that is what I am trying to learn to do, Power BI is new to me, and so far all the online tutorials and walk throughs have only been half helpful.
