What do you do when your SSRS report has too many parameter values to pass through the URL and it fails with this error "Maximum Request Length Exceeded"
I am having a problem trying to figure out what steps are needed to correct this issue. The error "Maximum Request Length Exceeded" occurs when the number of passed parameter values in the URL exceed the path's limitations. Does anyone know what steps to take to work around this. Apparently there are some.
Note: I am aware of the web.config file in SSRS and that it should be changed. The problem with that is that to do that would shut down business for a time and I have been told their are work arounds. Hacks so to speak that can work. Any knowledge around that might be helpful.
