Identical HTML / Javascript works in Firefox, Not Chrome

I did as much as I could, it reports many "errors" like absence of an Alt tag, yeah, I know. It found some unmatched tags, I fixed. Still fails in Chrome. I will have to hire someone to fix this, I cannot waste any more time chasing butterflys.

Yeah, I was about to post the same thing that Ryan said - it works for me fine in Chrome, too. 

Perhaps you have an old, cached copy of the file that is being loaded instead of the latest code, or perhaps Chrome has a proxy or a plugin that is interfering with things?

Plugins would be naturally different, since they're browser-specific, and the proxy settings would probably be different since FF doesn't use the system proxy settings by default (you can tell it to do so, if you want to do that as a test to see if it would break FF). 

Just to again prove it DOES NOT WORK in Chrome, Just now, I used the App to get to the php page & replaced it with the HTML version that I posted for all of you. Of course it does not work, the alerts that HAVE to show no matter how the form is submitted DO NOT SHOW. It just goes to the page referenced in the html form action tag.

I understand this is impossible, I guess I should have the customer try it. If it works for him, great. But there HAS to be something lurking in there that will come back to bite when we go live.

I've been working with computers since 1962, I know it's not magic but I can NEVER remember one this difficult because it works for all of you but not me.

One more comment. I tried it several more times. On ONE occasion I got the alerts on my computer in Chrome selecting the Submersible Pump Shell option (top of page) but I could NOT repeat it. Tried 8 to 10 times.

I have several times cleared the cache, then refreshed the HTML version. Still fails consistently.

Can one of you try it with the LOWER on the page option? (PPS Weld Kit). Perhaps we can isolate it to that option.

It works on my laptop.

No one answer explains it completely, but David's suggestion found some unmatched html tags which I am sure helped.

It is still a mystery why it will not now work on my "main" computer but it has a ton of other problems, so possibly connected to that. It will not sense WiFi now, I am using my laptop as my main computer.
