How do I know the HOST server of the vm servers?
Hi,
This is in Windows 10, Office 365, Server 2016 and Server 2019 environment.
I have got most of the NAMES of the servers in the network. I want to know what kinds of servers they are; physical or vm servers. To do it, I RDP (Remote Desktop ) to some of the servers. I found some servers are vm servers. I think I DO NOT Need to RDP to EACH server if I know the HOST server of the vm servers. (Note: The vm servers must have a HOST server, right?).
Question: How can I know the HOST server of the vm servers? (Explain a little bit if any please)
Thanks,
Tjie

The Hypervisor, is the software which runs on the host, there are many different versions, VMware, Microsoft, Oracle, Citrix, Amazon AWS, Google etc
Just connect to the host and you will see the list of all VMs running on it.
