asked on

folder Tsclient empty

Hi
we use RDP APP in windows10 20h2 because normal MSTSC doesn't work.
In this APP thereisn't the possibility to check Driver in the option, so we checked File System enable in APP setting.
then we have shared a directory TEMP on drive C: for everyone but when we lanch the APP the folder network\tsclient is empty

What do you have in the c:\temp folder on the source system!
What should be in the folder?

Test, put a new plain text file and see whether it shows up on the workstation in c:\temp

Make changes to the file and see if those changes are reflected in the app when accessing that file.

Hi Arnold
the problem is that in \\tsclient there is no directory!
in C:\Temp there is a test txt file.

I am difficulty figuring out from what you say, how the settings are set for the app and remote APP entry.

What is the goal of this folder to convey info where a text file will do?
Write save.
Access on the other side?
Check the app publishing
Check the settings of RDP, mstsc.

The odd thing, the tsclient is a setting on the user side of what they are attaching to the session.

When dealing with the invocation of the access tot the RDP, see what is in the configuration for the tsclient that is being passed for the client to start.

Are you using the web remote access approach to access the app.

"Shared c:\temp" can be interpreted in several ways:
On the RDS from which the app is shared?

The tsclient is a resource from the client that is extended to the session with server.
