There are many ways to accomplish this, depending on software your NAS runs.<br />

Likely NFS or sshfs or SAMBA will all work, as most Synology boxes run FreeNAS or TrueNAS which... likely have at least sshd + SAMBA running by default. Maybe NFS too.
