asked on

Outlook Imap Configuration Ost too big

Hi,

Strangely an email account, IMAP; which I have configured in outlook 365, I have a 20 Gb data file. Supposedly as it is in IMAP I assumed that the space should be consumed on the mail server side. It will probably be some option that has to be configured. Does anyone have any ideas.

Best regards

Hi rfl,

The info you're looking for can be found in a Microsoft Support Doc here:

The new Outlook file size limit of 50 GB can be increased or decreased by making changes to the Windows registry.

Hope that's helpful.

ASKER

Hi,

But what I wanted is for the data to be stored on the email server and not locally. Or at least most of the data.

best regards
