In Firefox open "Settings", "Privacy & Security", "Certificate", "View Certificates". Select the "Servers" tab, "Add Exception", the add the URL or IP address of the server you want to connect to, then "Get Certificate", when it has been downloaded, enable "Permanently store this Exception", and then "Confirm Security Exception".
