If I create a 3 column Word document and populate it with one text item per line,
I can sort all 3 column
as one, with one single
Sort A-Z click.
I want to do the same in Excel with three columns A1:C50
(There are no formulae and nothing will be entered outside A1:C50)
How do I make excel ignore row 51 and below?
How do I 'link' A50 to B1 and B50 to C1 for sorting purposes?
In the attached 5 row demo sheet .....
If I add "ARCHIE" into C3 and then A-Z sorting is implemented
ARCHIE would be sorted to the A4 position and JACK would move down to C3
Why do I want to do this you may ask .... I need to see 100+ alphabetically sorted text itemson my monitor without scrolling with the ability add, remove and re-sort items. 3 Column Sorting.xlsxIf you could add an A-Z sort button that would be brilliant!
