Connecting to the remote computer through Remote Desk Connection

Window 10 has Remote desk connection which I'm trying to use to connect the remote server to access the COM Port assigned to the device I want to want to use.

After allowing remote connection through the systems and security still I keep on failing to do , could it be Im using WIFi, I got the IP Address of the remote server which Im using as the credential but still nothing is working see the messages below:

can you ping the IP address of the remote system?  anything in between (firewall, etc.) that could interfere with the connection?  did you try to paste a screenshot?  there is no message

Many thanks to you all, it has worked, by sending request like below:

192.168.8.106:3389


Actually that worked for me by including port number 3389 example, instead of a computer name you use 192.168.8.102:3389

and then a password, I have no issue here anymore.
