How do I convert text (e.g. 01Apr2020) to date in MS Access query?

I have a date field that is formatted as short text and am unable to query a date range. Is there an expression that I can use in my query that will convert the text format (e.g. 01Apr2020) to a valid date format? Much thanks in advance- apc
