excel formatting of date

I have an excel extract .  one field is date 
Sample entries are  ( it is mm/dd/yyyy format)
 
5/23/2019 2:47:10 PM
5/27/2019 10:54:43 AM
5/28/2019 6:30:35 AM
5/28/2019 6:49:34 AM


How can I get  it formatted to show the display as below
23/5/2019
27/5/2019
28/5/2019
28/5/2019

So long as it is a true Date Time stamp rather than text you can just apply Date formatting to it. If you don't have dd/mm/yyyy as one of your standard formats you will have to create a custom format.
Try to choose "Custom" as category, for Cell property, and put format "DD-MM-YYYY".
