How To Get Notified Over Email When A Change Is Made to a Shared Doc at Office.com

I would like to figure out how to get an email notification when changes are made to a shared document I created in Office.com. I'm totally fine with the email notification going to my Office.com Outlook email. The challenge I'm having in researching this is that instructions for older versions of Office are what come up in a Search.

Has anyone setup a shared Office.com doc to send an email when changes are made?

Thanks for your help!

If its anything like SharePoint (also Microsoft so should be similar) you do it in the file library by setting an alert when file is changed.

It appears that the backend of Office.com is OneDrive. I downloaded the latest OneDrive App and installed it on my 2k19 VM. Any chance that there is a way to set notifications using OneDrive?

Thanks for your help!
Maybe this can help:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/follow-documents-to-track-them-e022c55c-4bf0-4809-8b3a-1da870cf17d7

I have OneDrive for Business and at bottom left of OneDrive screen had to select Classic OneDrive to see the Advanced and Follow options.
