Is there much administration and ‘day to day’ work involved in administering a RD gateway system and RD session host farm? Or is it a relatively unproblematic area to support in general? I am looking into standard operating procedures documentation for all business critical systems whereby specialist teams or individuals support specific services (often in isolation), to ensure documentation and knowledge transfer for the basic aspects of support/’day to day’ tasks/recovery etc is accessible and can be used in training up other officers for cover/emergency situations, I am just trying to identify some useful examples of what standard tasks could be documented for RDG/RDSH farm. The lead has fairly useful design documentation, it is just whether the administrative procedures could also be captured.
