The question is, which duplicate do you want to delete, the earliest one or the latest one?<br><br>Generally, when I want to do this, I use that find duplicates query and change it to a make table query. &nbsp;Once you have the new table with just those two fields in it, open the table and create a unique index which includes both columns. &nbsp;Then you can then create a new query which joins this table to your original table on those two fields to review the records and decide which one to delete. <br><br>If you know you want to delete the earliest one, then you could create your find duplicates query like:<br><pre><code class="code-1 nolinks" id="code-20-43309308-1"><span>SELECT Field1, Field2, Min(ID) as MinID</span>
<span>INTO temp_Dups</span>
<span>FROM yourTable</span>
<span>GROUP BY Field1, Field2</span>

</code></pre>Then turn this into a make table query and create the unique index on the MinID field.<br>Then you would create a new query, join this new table to your original table on MinID = ID and convert it to a delete query.<br><br><br>
