@nobus, why suggest a restore which requires the user access the system, login into it which could as easily resolve the reason it is not accessible.<br />
<br />
A simple issue I've seen is a sevurity update that ticked the require NLA more secure RDP connection.<br />
Unchecking it resolves the issue.<br />
<br />
Wmic, remote registry access can also gave this fixed if the asker gas another system to which they can connect and from which they can access the above mentioned components to correct the circumstance.<br />

My read the person is not physically on-site and is attempting to solve the issue of his lack of access to his system via RDP.<br />

Having never tried the restore route to correct a workstation whose RDP stopped working, <br />
However, have used the suggestions provided.<br />
Got on another system, and using remote registry, wmic to check status, adjust options to regain access.<br />
Including shifting the port on which it was listening......<br />
<br />
The use of system restore presumes a restore point prior to the change.<br />
If the restore point to which I be folks back the system is a significant amount of time in the past, the restore attempt, might as they say, leave the system in a worst shape than not having access via RDP.

Deals with restoring to a prior restore point might be sone time ago.<br />
