asked on
2 factor authentication
i sort of asked this question already but would like to try again
right now we have office365
in office 365 admin center, you have the option to turn 2fa
when i turn it on and enter my phone number in. i receive a call confirming the auth request before being able to login to 0365
hope that makes sense, my question is:
since on prem ad is synchronizing with office365 and azure.............
can i extend the o365 2fa to vpn logins?
i am used to to duo security, which offers 2fa. all you have to do is deploy a radius server, link it to the firewall, and your up and running with 2fa.
so again,
can i use the the microsoft authenticator or the o365 2fa solution to secure my vpn logins?
thank you in advance

I am guessing the setup wouldnt be much different for a meraki firewall since it would still contact the nps server that has the azure mfa extension.
did i get that right?
