I have a truly bizarre problem. A few hours ago, Windows suddenly stopped responding to the letter and number keys on my wireless keyboard. Other keys still function as normal, such as: the lock key, volume level keys, calculator key, etc.
This could be a Logitech driver problem and/or a Windows problem. Hopefully, someone can help me find a solution because I do not own a wired keyboard. :(
This is what I know:
A) The other keys work, as described above.
B) I can pair the MX Keys to my iPhone, and my Macbook. All the keys work perfectly, so this is specifically related to Windows 10. I am using the keyboard now, while connected to my Macbook.
C) I also own an older Logitech K520 keyboard, and when I connect, it is exhibits the exact same problem.
What have I tried?
- Toggled keyboard power
- Rebooted Windows, multiple times
- Driver updates (although I could not find Logitech drivers)
- Installed Logitech Options. It was sadly not helpful.
While searching for potential solutions, I also tried:
- Toggled the filter keys and other keyboard settings
- Removed the keyboard driver from the Control Panel. It seems like it's permanently removed b/c it never came back after multiple reboots. Nothing I tried could bring it back (if it is even necessary)
- Searched for new or updated drivers (nothing).
What else can I try?
Thank you
