Reinstalled Windows 10 onto a 2019 HP desktop, but after installing the appropriate drivers (BIOS, network, chipset) the ethernet is not detected. Any ideas?

I've installed the drivers found via HP's website with the desktop's serial number, but Windows refuses to detect the networking hardware. It does show up in device manager under Other devices as "Ethernet Controller" with a yellow triangle (along with "PCI Device", strangely).

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the appropriate drivers (followed by a reboot) several times.

Are you sure you have the right drivers? I find many HP systems list more than one network driver in the listings...
By reading your post, it tells me that you do not have the right driver for your NIC. If you provide the model and serial number of the workstation, I'll help you find and load the correct driver.

The serial number is MXL9351F4N. I tried installing all available drivers related to networking, the Realtek appeared to install properly (the others obviously mentioned the hardware wasn't correct) but still doesn't result in the adapter being found by the OS.
This issue appears to be resolved by installer a newer version of Windows 10 (the original installation was apparently using a very old version).
