asked on

Solarwinds, ManageEngine, Kaseya???

Seems like all of these options have had some serious issues as far as being hacked at some point. Or malware embedded. Any one have a recommendation? This is a financial institution that deals with PI so security is everything. I also question what kind of information do these companies collect on their clients. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

that's just one part though. i need the centralized management as well. and it seems like all of the big names Solarwinds, etc..  have been compromised in some way recently
I assume that those company's you mentioned have or are learning how to reduce the vulnerabilities. So in future they will provably be more secure.

Andrew i also need the basics of desktop management, software updates, full IT management of the Network. In looking through your suggestion I'm just not seeing everything necessary to accomplish that.

@kevinhsieh a very similar situation plus I'm just looking to make it easier. While I do have access to everything via various tools, powershell, remote access, some basic tools available via the eset cloud control ultimately i'd like to consolidate everything to one tool that can cover most things. Would you mind if I asked which RMM you went with?

I've not made any decisions on what to do. I've been back and forth on going to a RMM at all. This particular client is not cloud based, actually hardly at all. One AD only but WFH has become permanent for about 1/2 the company and  satellite offices in 3 different cities. I have some great info and feedback from all of you that I'll need to review. I appreciate everyone's input.
