I would look honestly first for all the free resources available like blogs(<a href="https://www.guru99.com/data-lake-architecture.html" rel="ugc">https://www.guru99.com/data-lake-architecture.html</a>), youtube videos but filter from the myriads of postings the ones written by people with expertise in a particular filed and with many years of experience. Only if I can't find the particular thing I'm looking for for free (unlikely) then I'll buy a book that I can download/read/search online as it would be much faster to find what I need versus real paper. And I think the book you posted above "Data Lake Architecture" - is a great read as I mentioned already and at&nbsp; a decent price.

Data Lake Architecture book for learning for beginner.

Big data describes data sets that are so large or complex that traditional data processing applications are inadequate. Challenges include analysis, capture, data curation, search, sharing, storage, transfer, visualization, querying and information privacy. The term often refers simply to the use of predictive analytics or certain other advanced methods to extract value from data, and seldom to a particular size of data set.

Big Data

SQL (Structured Query Language) is designed to be used in conjunction with relational database products as of a means of working with sets of data. SQL consists of data definition, data manipulation, and procedural elements. Its scope includes data insert, query, update and delete, schema creation and modification, and data access control.

Databases are organized collections of data, most commonly accessed through management systems including schemas, tables, queries and processes that allow users to enter and manipulate the information or utilize it in other fashions, such as with web applications or for reporting purposes.
