Big thanks for tthat but now ive just realised I got hundreds of formulas to put in and looked at a different way of doing it. <br><br>If I have a POSITIVE figure in Cell Z10 I want that linked to cell D50 with the figure but if Z10 is a NEGATIVE figure I need it linking to cell H50 but need it showing in H50 as a POSITIVE.<br><br>Sorry to change my plan&nbsp;

If the value of data combined in  D12/D13/D42/D45 is GREATER than value of data combined in H25/H44 and N34  then I need the difference shown in cell H50  but if it is the other way round as then I need the difference shown in D50.
