asked on Server 2019 IIS permissions?
I have users on the LAN who want to access a service on a server this is done vie a web page:
http://10.0.x.x:9090/jobserver/recurring
The above link works on the server but not on the LAN and I don't want to give users access to the server. The server firewall is turned off but when accessing I get HTTP ERROR 401
Can anyone help? The firewall on the server is turned off.

Adding to the above, 401 means iis related access error.

I don't this it is using IIS, that topic has been removed.
Chatting with our firewall expert, he said there are no restrictions that would cause this.
I'm thinking the issue is with the vendors app, so this is not the right forum.

What is the errorthat the users get?
Are the setting on iis to allow anonymous browsing, or require login?
