Migration to 2019

I have a SBS2011 Standard server which is no longer using on premise exchange, email is web mail
only two users on this domain
I'm going to replace this server with a new STD 2019
all it's going to do is a file share folder and host an on premise database with two users this new server will to AD and I'm going to do DHCP and DNS on the comcast router
I'm going to move the two Windows 10 PCs  off the domain and then join the new domain on the new server with new user accounts

any comments are appreciated here?

I'm going to replace this server with a new STD 2019

you will need to migrate from FRS to DFSR before you promote your 2019 server

Step-by-Step Guide for upgrading SYSVOL replication to DFSR (Distributed File System Replication)

https://www.rebeladmin.com/2015/04/step-by-step-guide-for-upgrading-sysvol-replication-to-dfsr-distributed-file-system-replication/

...and I'm going to do DHCP and DNS on the comcast router

DHCP is ok but should configure that to use the 2019 server for DNS
if that is not an option, then the 2019 server should do DHCP
else you will have domain connectivity issues to the server if you use public DNS

I'm going to move the two Windows 10 PCs  off the domain and then join the new domain on the new server with new user accounts

if there are only 2 machines, then might not be worth configuring DHCP - give them static addresses; again, using the 2019 server for DNS

You may be aware of this already but as standard server license is different from SBS (in a lot of ways) you may need additional license.
If you were using the premium add on SQL License for SBS 2011 you will need to purchase a different version of SQL if you intend to run SQL database on the new server.
Additionally SBS included user CALS so you may also need to purchase those if you have not already done so.

Seth
I am unjoining the clients from this domain then creating new accounts on the new domain and joining them back since there are only 2 users, this place used to have 12 users but now it's only 2
would I set need to migrate FRS to DFSR ?
would I set need to migrate FRS to DFSR ?

it is required
2016 worked with FRS but throws a warning during DC promotion saying it is deprecated and will be removed in a later release
2019 will halt with an error if it isn't DFSR
also need to make sure the functional level is at least 2008 as that is the minimum supported for DFSR

If that domain was created when the SBS 2011 server was introduced, you don't need to migrate; you're using DFSR for SYSVOL replication already. If the domain is older than that, though, you may need to. Like Seth said, you won't be able to promote the 2019 server to a DC if you're not using DFSR for SYSVOL replication. The error message you'll get will tell you exactly this, so go ahead and try it. If the promotion succeeds, you're already using DFSR.
