<ul><li>It sounds like a corrupted user profile as Scott S. stated, it would be best to start fresh with behavior like that, but what Andrew suggested above can also be tried, I have seen that mentioned in the Microsoft Community as well just be super careful when working in the registry.</li><li>I also would push for the move to O365, especially on W10. 2010 is showing odd performance issues and bugs nowadays in general with W10 and due to its age. I know we have a few other fellow Experts with multiple older versions installed, but in the long run, moving to a more current version will yield fewer peculiar problems and be more stable and secure.</li></ul>

Andrew Porter: &nbsp;So far, so good. &nbsp;Thanks!<br>Outlook 2010 still not working fully.<br>Can't get older data files connected.<br>They are .ost but the only option is for .pst!! seems strange for adding to an Exchange account.<br>The .ost files are there but we can't grab them in any way.<br>If we use the file opener, it asks for an app and Outlook isn't one listed nor findable.<br><br>Oh! &nbsp;Second restart took care of it!<br><br>Jazz Kaur: &nbsp;Good advice as always!

This computer is generating a new TEMP..user type file at each reboot.
Outlook is MS Exchange .OST - has to be set up again each time.
Not getting access to the original .ost (only asks for .pst data files?)
Documents for user aren't in explorer - have to be copied.

Create a new User Profile.
Go to Microsoft 365 - which User is reluctant to do re: the learning curve for him.
