From what I have found is the official solution is to install Exchange on prem to get the management console and the mailbox server, though no mailboxes would be hosted. &nbsp;Then download the Hybrid Wizard and run. &nbsp;I was just wondering if there was something a bit lighter than running an Exchange server for that sole purpose.&nbsp;&nbsp;

You don't need to install "new Exchange servers", you just have to use one of existing servers.<br><br>Note that the Exchange server license is free if the server is only used for management and mail routing. This free license is on for Exchange 2016 and before.<br><br>

There is no official tool as such. Only 2 ways.<br><br>1. Use an exchange server for management<br><br>OR<br><br>2. Experts. &nbsp;I have not been able to find a decent GUI tool to allow for mailbox management in an Exchange Hybrid environment. &nbsp; Mailboxes has been migrated but we continue to sync our local AD domain to Azure via Azure AD Sync. &nbsp;New account mailboxes require tweaking or to be hidden from the GAL can be done in the Exchange Management Console, or directly managing attributes, but I would like to retire the old Exchange server but give staff a GUI interface to make any such changes. &nbsp;Suggestions are welcome along with any negative impact removing the exchange server could potentially bring that I'm not considering.
