How do I add to a formula for calculation

I have this formula in cell D55  =IF(Z9>=0, Z9,"")  but what im trying to do is if there is data in cell D44 I need it decucted from the value in D55.

I need the original forula kept in D55 as it connected to other parts of sheet.

Any Ideas?

You only can have one formula for a cell. So, in order to have 2 different calculations, you would need another cell for the second formula.
