My Logitech C670 (c670i) is only display as 2.1 megapixels

I am having rather odd issue with logitech webcam I just bought, it only gives me option to got 2.1 megapixels. See screenshot attached.

So you expect it to be more than 2.1 MP? FullHD is 2.1 MP, that's correct as is.

I have used a Logitech Full HD Cam recently and the application (Cisco Webex Meeting) didn't use FullHD until I configured it within WebEx!
Maybe it's the same reason for you.

Just remember what "Web-Cams" are mostly used for. Video Chats mainly, & for that you don't need the highest resolutions, HD or Full-HD should be more than good enough. Much more important is a fast & reliable Internet connection, as otherwise you will get a jumpy & erratic display of the Video Stream, & that will worsen the higher the Resolution you set.
If you want High Quality Pictures or Videos, you should rather get a real Camera & not a Web-Cam.
