PowerPoint EXPERTS! - Why Am I Getting "SLIDE 2" When this is NOT what's on the slide title?

I have a slide title that says "ABCDEFG"
Yet, when I want to set up a hyperlink to that slide, I only have "Slide 2" shown or other slide numbers, rather than the slide title.
Why is this happening?
How can I stop seeing "Slide 1, 2, 3 etc. and instead see the proper sllide titles. (See graphic below)
