Check printing alignment for Quick Books online changes at random times.

  • The issue happens around 1-2 times per month and not on a regular basis.
  • The version of QuickBooks is online. The browser is Chrome.

  • Have you already combed through the QuickBook Online alignment Support KB tips, it looks like they updated this KB also just about an hour ago too pretty recently:
  • I also know for check printing in general when I used to set up printers for an Accounts Payable Dept. at a past workplace we saw better results with a certain printer model we had HPs, it could be the printer is causing the ongoing alignment problem.
    • What model printer do you use for printing or brand? How old is the printer or is is fairly new?
  • You mentioned Chrome, do you see an issue in other browsers? I don't believe that would be the cause of this.
  • Do you have other team members who notice the alignment issue also or only one workstation is used for check printing?

Thanks for the response.
  • Only 1 team member uses this PC.
  • This team member has followed the Quickbooks instructions for aligning the print jobs. The settings change every few weeks though.
  • The printer is an HP LaserJet 1020. It is about 5 years old.
  • Th user primarily uses Google chrome.
