Architectural Scale
Hey Everyone,
Not sure if anyone knows this. On a scale 3/16"=1', 2'.6" would be represented by what fraction of an inch?

ASKER
Yes, you got it Paul but how did you get it?
Given 3/16"=1'
2' 6" = 3/16 + 3/16 + 1.5/16
3/16 + 3/16 + 1.5/16 = 6/32 + 6/32 + 3/32
6/32 + 6/32 + 3/32 = 15/32
2' 6" = 15/32
2' 6" = 3/16 + 3/16 + 1.5/16
3/16 + 3/16 + 1.5/16 = 6/32 + 6/32 + 3/32
6/32 + 6/32 + 3/32 = 15/32
2' 6" = 15/32
ASKER
Ok Paul, how do you get 6" = 1.5/16 part? I see it as only 6/12 (6 inch to 12inch) = 1/2.

Presuming you mean 2' 6" and not 2.6' or 2.6" or 2' .6". Your syntax is ambiguous.
