We have a computer that has been acting strange and we are concerned it has malware.  We don’t want to connect it to the internet due to the concern about malware.  We tried installing ESET’s free scanner (the offline version via flash drive) but it is asking for proxy server settings (when we installed ESET on a computer with internet access it did not ask for that) and we don’t know how to proceed.  We also tried downloading Malwarebytes installer onto a flash drive but couldn’t install it either.  How can we check if the computer has malware without connecting it to the internet?
