working with flutter projects

I'm learning to work with Flutter Mobile app Development.

I bought a couple of books on Flutter Development.

When I download the code samples for the book, each example has a project folder.

I noticed the project folders are very small in size.

Then when I open the Flutter project folder in either Android Studio or Visual Studio Code the first thing either IDE asks be,
is if I want to Get the Dependencies. So I say yes, and all the dependencies are downloaded and added to the project folder.

So after Getting the Dependencies, then I run the application and it runs fine.

Previously, I learned React Web Development and sharing project in React is similar.

After Getting the Dependencies and running the app and maybe changing a couple lines.

How do I then, do the opposite?
How do I remove the Dependencies files that were downloaded?
So I can make a small zip file of my project and share it with another developer?
