the stupid instructions tell me to hold this button or that button for 15 seconds, 20 buttons, 25 seconds, 30 seconds, etc. &nbsp;Again, no luck.

I don't think that holding "this button or that button" for any specific length of time will get it to connect.&nbsp; There is more to the process.

yes, I have disconnected and reconnected power....when I try to change the wifi connection through the app. the app tells me that alexa needs to go orange....I can't make it orange

I went through all of the articles and the key was to get the Echo Dot near the router, in order for it to enter Setup.&nbsp; Thank you!

Awesome! Glad you got it resolved! Wish they had a message omit from the Dot stating "router not in range, please review" or some detection router obvious message or light for that like purple or something more apparent.&nbsp;
