Hi Andrei, ok i had to boot to a usb external drive to get access to the system i used Mac OS X 10.15, then i opened system pref. but did not see the (profiles tab) so i tried (Users &amp; Groups) but no options for remote management profile was there, however i did find remote management under Sharing but it was not checked off so i could not follow the rest of your instructions. Any thoughts maybe (Profiles) is located in a different location in this ver of Mac OS X?

Thank you rindi, It's an LLC company unit possibly used by the employee, yes I figured it had something to do with a bios (idk if Macs even have a Bios) or some hardware link, but like you said maybe the serial number. Yes i tried both with and without internet. I will reach out to the seller.

<p>A client in desperation dropped off a Macbook Air A1466 he purchased off Amazon, the seller assured him the unit is legit, however he failed to notice the Remote Management (MDM) from the company he purchased it from was still intact and active. I partitioned, erased the SSD several times, reinstalled Mac OS but at the end of each installation the Remote Management kept asking for credentials which the seller of course cannot get.
