I setup a local user on MSSQL 2019 and would like to only give it rights to a few tables in a database. I know that I could right click the table and go to properties and permissions and give that user permissions to that table. But this doesn't seem like best practices. Would it be better to setup a group or something that I could put this user in that had the permissions it needed?
