Outlook not receiving incoming email

I just got a new Windows 10 computer.  I transferred my Outlook PST data file to the new computer (which seems to work fine), and set up my gmail account.  It uploaded my emails, but now the new incoming emails do not appear.  There does not seem to be anything wrong with my setup.  The incoming emails appear in my gmail inbox online, but are no longer working with Outlook.  Please help.  Thanks, Phil

Gmail is usually accessed via IMAP in Outlook, so I don't know why you would need to import a PST...
But somehow you broke it doing so.

Scott,  Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.  I've been using Outlook for many years - since long before there was any online connectivity.  Whenever I get a new computer I transfer my PST file because it contains all of my Contacts and Calendar data.  I understand that the email is a separate setting, but I set it up with the same settings I always use - and my Gmail account (online) received the Microsoft "test" email, which normally indicates that things are working.  But neither incoming nor outgoing email is being received in Outlook.
Maybe try setting it up again? I know it works as I have 4 gmail accounts in mine.
Did you let it auto configure, or did you do it manually?

I let it do it automatically.
