Power BI text to percentage conversion.

I have a percentage value that starts as text (0.05 as an example). If I convert it to a percentage it gets calculated as 5% instead of 0.05% ... and if i convert it to a decimal it keeps the format but i can't get it to report as a percentage in reports. Does anyone have an idea of how I can convert this text to the proper percentage value of 0.05%?

the text value in the field is 0.05 which equates to 0.05% ... when i convert that to a percentage in the query editor the conversion makes it 5% instead of 0.05%
