Win 10 picture viewer that will allow clicking on arrow to display next pic in folder

My computer is running Windows 10 version 2004.

I'm hoping to find a picture preview program or method so that I can view pictures within a particular Windows folder and then click to display the next picture in the folder.

I often need to view several pictures within a folder and am annoyed by the current Windows 10 picture preview programs where I have to go back into the folder to select the next picture in the list to view.

I'm hoping to find a program similar to the old Windows photo previewer program found in Windows XP and Windows 7 that allowed this to be done.

Is there a built-in Windows 10 picture preview program that will allow this to be done?

Or what third-party programs besides IrfanView can I install that will allow this to be done?

Unless the behavior of Photo Viewer changed since Windows 7, this should be what you want:

Select all the files you want to preview.  If everything in the folder is images, control-A will select everything.

Mouse over the first image in the directory listing.  Right click on it and select "Preview."  This will take you through the selected files one at a time with the arrow keys under the image.

That's the problem in Windows 10 is that I no longer see the Preview option. Is there any way of adding this Preview option back to Windows 10 version 2004?
