I have a Server2016 VM running in HyperV . It attaches to a VHD which is used as seperate data drive within the VM.

When I checkpoint -i notice AVHDX checkpoints are created for both VHDX files.

If I apply a checkpoint to the main 2016VM - will it also revert the attached data VHDX (and thus losing data ?)

How would I apply the checkpoints seperately ?

Thank you
