asked on

reset an iPad that I've lost its passcode to factory default

I lost the passcode to an iPad & there's no data I need

from the iPad.  I do have an Apple id & its password.

How can I reset that iPad (the data can be wiped) so

that I can gain access to it again without using "Find

Phone" (which I don't know how to use it) nor using

iTunes nor using iCloud?

Suppose I don't need to restore but just wipe it
out & get back a factory default iPad ready to
be re-used, is a computer still needed?

if the iOS image in iTunes has a passcode (which we
also don't know), will the restored iPad also have a
passcode required or there's a way during the restore
not to restore back the passcode?  If this is not
possible, is there a way to have iTunes loaded with
a 'plain vanilla' iOS?
