Hi expert

My office is preparing to upgrade MS 2013 office (with o365) to o365 (m365 E3 plan) for using the Intune and MDM feature. But have difficulty on the licensing.

As I know, Microsoft assume ONE PC is having ONE email account with ONE office license. However, we have below situations in our office.

  1. 11 PC shared for 50 staff who have no personal email account. On these 11 PC, we have 3 general email accounts (e.g. mailto:enquiry@domain.com mailto:billing@domain.com) on it now. All the staff don’t know the email password for security reason.
  2. There is ONE email account setup on 8 PCs now for another team (30 staff)
  3. We have ONE PC with 3 email accounts on it.

Since we have quite a lot of general accounts, I am thinking is it possible using this general account OFFICE license for the PC on another team. But we concern there is data leakage. So, is it possible to use general account to activate the OFFICE license only, but use another email account on OUTLOOK?

Thanks, M
