iPhone and MacOS will add +1 day to contacts birthday when syncing from/to Exchange Server 2016
Hi All,
We are using Exchange Server 2016, some users are using Outlook for Windows, iMac calendar and iPhone. Some users input the birthday contact (for example : 2021-11-02) in Outlook for Windows, they discovered the birthday sync to iPhone is correct, but in iMac calendar will add 1 day in birthday calendar (2021-11-03) of this contact.
If they change the birthday of this contact to 2021-11-02 in iMac contact, after sync with Exchange Server, Outlook and iPhone will show the birthday 2021-11-01.
I found many articles, but still no answer to fix this issue. Can anyone help?
Best Regards,
Thomas
On the iMac, they are not using Outlook? Are they using their Microsoft Outlook calendar and Microsoft Outlook mobile app? I would transition them off of the built-in calendars and mail app.
ASKER
Hi Jazz,
The user only use built-in iMac calendar, contact and mail app. She did not use Outlook for Mac and Outlook mobile app. Her secretary will help to input data in Outlook for Windows.
I know that this issue was discovered over 6 years. Until now, it seems that still no solution to fix / solve this issue.

Thomas

You might need to open case with both Apple and Microsoft. Or switch user to Outlook.
