When I disabled a user in AD their Exchange Mailbox disappeared from Exchange. How can I get that mailbox back?

I disabled some users in AD and their Exchange 2013 mailboxes are no longer visible on exchange.  I did not delete the mailbox.  How can I get to that mailbox to restore it? I've looked on the "Connect a Mailbox" option and it does not show any of the accounts i disabled yesterday thru Active Directory Users and Computers
