Win+Alt+R doesnt record audio anymore

This is sort of Win10 Xbox recording:

I used to record online meeting sessions to take
minutes by pressing Win+Alt+r  & to stop recording,
just click on the blue round button with a white
square in it.  It would save the recording of the
Desktop (think this is sort of Xbox recording) in
 \users\myId\videos\captures

Lately found that the audio is not recorded, just
zzZ noises.  The mic icon is not crossed out.  Must
I insert earphone into laptop?

What changes could have led to this?

Can't paste screen nor upload anything into EE

with surfing segregation in place.

> this about the built-in W10 capture tool part of the Xbox Game Bar?
Yes, it is.

In the Win+G screen that pops up (I can't Print-Screen nor use Snip
Tool to capture that screen), the mic is enabled: I'll next take a photo
using my phone if you need to see the screen.

On the Win+Alt+r  screen, the mic is also enabled: refer to below
(the mic icon to the right of the blue circle):

Selected All (was previously the top-most button ie Game+enabled
Mic  selected) as per suggested by Gerwin: tested working now
when I read something into the PC while recording:

Will do 1 more test tomorrow with remote party's Teams & close
if it works
